Copper imbalance for 2050

The long and winding road to be #netzero2050 will face many challenges. Politicians are sure to promise today a green future, leaving the solution to that problem to someone else. And then, math comes in and shows something like the chart below. The amount of copper that will be needed from today to 2050, may be the same as the one humans have mined since the copper age 7000 years ago. About 25-30 million metric tones per year for the next 23 years. And it appears we will not have enough, at least on earth. That in itself is inflationary at a time where we could use some deflationary pressures.
