The #nasdaq100 index has shown a negative return in each of the last 7 weeks. Over the last 25 years, only two instances, during #dotcom era and the #gfc have exibit 8 consecutive weeks of negative performance. For the #djia it’s been 8 consecutive weeks already. Portfolios are adjusting risk to the new economic context, as the #fed continues to fight inflation. So far, out os the three major equity indices, only the #nasdaq100 is in #bearmarket territory (loss >20%). And the drawdown, has already surpassed the #covid19 one. Credit markets should be next.
