Inflation worries

According to FiveThirtyEight, Americans biggest worry is #inflation. 65% of republicans and 42% of democrats list the increase in cost of living as their biggest worry. #midtermelections are in November, and this is a very important factor, because it affects the majority of the voting population. President #Biden knows it, and even though the #federalreserve is independent from the executive branch, a recently (and finally) confirmed Jay Powell knows he needs to bring inflation down as much as possible before the elections, without creating a #recession. 75 bps #ratehike may be on the table again.
