During the 1970’s, the US went through #stagflation, a period of low #economicgrowth and rapid #inflation. Currently, the US might be entering a similar economic period. If that were the case, it’s interesting to see what worked from the investment perspective. As you can see below, in real terms, in the 70’s, it was all about #commodities. This year, so far, #rawmaterials, #oilandgas and #grains have been probably the only bright spot on the investment landscape.
