Inflation peak?

It’s interesting to see the performance of stocks indices, both US and international, during inflationary periods. During the initial shock, stocks recede, but once inflation reaches a peak, they resume its upward trend, according to the chart below. If inflation has peaked, which is a big if, and if history serves as guidance, equity markets will come out of their correction territory. The important question is, of course, if inflation has reached a top. #Cpi for the month of May, will be published on June 10th, 5 days prior to the next #FOMC meeting.
