A workable basis?

Yesterday, Iran presented its "10-point plan" which includes the following terms:

1.  Complete cessation of the war on Iraq, Lebanon, and Yemen.

2.  Complete and permanent cessation of the war on Iran with no time limit.

3.  Ending all conflicts in the region in their entirety.

4.  Reopening the Strait of Hormuz.

5.  Establishing a protocol and conditions to ensure freedom and security of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.

6.  Full payment of compensation for reconstruction costs to Iran.

7.  Full commitment to lifting sanctions on Iran.

8.  Release of Iranian funds and frozen assets held by the United States.

9.  Iran fully commits to not seeking possession of any nuclear weapons.

10.  Immediate ceasefire takes effect on all fronts immediately upon approval of the above conditions.

Trump said this plan is "a workable basis” and agreed to a 2 week ceasefire, provided the strait of a Hormuz is open immediately. Oil is down, U.S. equity markets are soaring, as well as bonds, and gold. The problem? There are “versions” of those 10 points. Is Israel going to accept point 1 without reserves? Is the western world ok with Iran and Oman controlling Hormuz? (In other words imposing a fee). Are the 31 Iranian provinces going to unfollow the specific instructions communicated by Khamenei (and therefore god’s will) before its death to fight till the end? Let’s assume for a moment that a deal is reached. How is this not a victory for Iran, where it now has control over all the countries in the Middle East? Is Saudi Arabia going to accept that? Perhaps It is too soon to celebrate the end of the conflict, but the market has bought the idea. We’ll see if it holds. If that wasn’t enough, South Korea's President Lee Jae-myung just apologized to North Korea for civilian drone incursions into their airspace, NK's Kim Yo-jong praised it as "wise" and "fortunate", but hours later, North Korea fired an unidentified projectile, eastward from near Pyongyang. No damage was reported. Geopolitical tension is up, and we’re one mistake away from more conflict.
